LACQUA 2025 Brings Latin America’s Aquaculture Leaders Together in Puerto Varas
The city of Puerto Varas will become the hub of aquaculture innovation in Latin America with the realization of LACQUA 2025, the Latin American and Caribbean Aquaculture Congress. The event, taking place from October 6 to 9 at the Hotel Enjoy, will bring together experts, researchers, producers, and companies from across the sector, with the goal of addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the industry in the region.
Under the theme “Governance: A Pillar for Sustainable Aquaculture in the Context of Climate Change”, LACQUA 2025 will focus its agenda on critical topics such as animal health, antimicrobial reduction, sustainable resource management, and climate adaptation. In addition, it will feature keynote plenaries, technical workshops, and specialized symposia, offering a unique space for professional development and knowledge exchange.
Chile, recognized as a regional leader in Atlantic and Coho salmon production, strengthens its strategic position as the host country for this event, which also includes a major commercial exhibition where companies will present innovative solutions for the industry.
LACQUA 2025 promises to be a key meeting point for the sector, strengthening professional networks and promoting sustainability and innovation in aquaculture.
