Aker QRILL Company to showcase innovative solutions for aquaculture nutrition at Aqua Expo Guayaquil

The Latin American aquaculture industry will once again gather at Aqua Expo Guayaquil, one of the region’s most important trade fairs, organized by the National Chamber of Aquaculture of Ecuador.

QRILL Aqua

The event, taking place from October 20 to 23, 2025, at the city’s Convention Center, will bring together producers, researchers, and technology, input, and service providers for the cultivation of marine species.

QRILL Aqua by Aker QRILL Company will be present at stands C20-6 and C207, with an international team ready to share technical information, experiences, and results on the use of Antarctic krill-derived ingredients in aquaculture feed.

We will present two of our most recognized products: QRILL Aqua Total, a krill meal that improves feed intake, growth, and stress resistance in fish and shrimp, while also providing natural pigmentation and reducing the occurrence of melanosis in salmon fillets; and QRILL AstaOmega, a krill oil that combines omega-3 fatty acids with natural astaxanthin and cholesterol, enhancing survival, health, and performance in farmed species.

In this context, Aker QRILL Company aims to demonstrate how functional ingredients such as krill meal and krill oil can help improve production efficiency while advancing towards a more environmentally responsible industry.

With this participation, we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening ties with shrimp producers and positioning Antarctic krill as a key resource for the development of a sustainable aquaculture industry in the region.
